Excellent service. Translator provided was extremely good. I would recommend this hospital.

Parking was easy at the hospital. I checked in on the HLA app to notify my arrival. Consultant was fluent in English so no need for a translator.

We are New Zealanders cruising on our sailboat in Spain. I was diagnosed with an inguinal hernia and advised to get it repaired. In peak holiday season in Spain it wasn’t easy to find somewhere to help. That is until I called the super helpful Patient Welfare Dept at HLA Hospital Mediterraneo on their # on their website. Beatrijs Bolle who speaks multiple languages was able over the phone to make an appointment with a very experienced surgeon Dr Enrique Suso Lafuente in a few days time. The day after the appointment I had pre-op tests and on the Monday the op was completed successfully, and I am recovering well. Beatrijs met me on arrival and was there every step of the way through to discharge. Wonderful service. The whole process was friendly, professional, value for money and smooth as silk. It’s a truly excellent hospital which I can wholeheartedly recommend.
